Survey participants can choose to receive a personalized report of their social network and results of state-of-the-art personality measures.

As part of my PhD research project, I am examining how expatriate’s social networks influence their life in Norway.

If you are an expatriate living in Norway, I would like to invite you to participate in the study, by completing a questionnaire: https://bino.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_exObfZXd35d39dP

The quality of the results depends on the quality of the data collected. The questions are all state-of-the-art measures, but this also means it takes 20-40 minutes to fill out. I would really appreciate and value your response!

As I believe the research is important for expatriates, anyone who participates can choose to get a report showing their social network and key personality measures that are especially relevant for expatriates, with an explanation of the results.  Further, you will be invited to a lecture “Socializing and networking the NORway”, held in Oslo during the winter and spring of 2020.

About me (Njål Andersen)

Before starting my PhD, I ran a company where we held courses on managing the expatriate process and working with cultural differences, both for expatriates coming to Norway, and Norwegians preparing to move abroad. Over the past 15 years we have had several thousand course participants. While my research is informed and influenced by the many questions, reflections, advice and stories I have heard over the years, I hope for feedback on my research, so as to make is as relevant and valuable to expatriates.

If you want me to administer the survey in an organization or association where a number will all respond, please contact me ( Njal.Andersen@bi.no) for administration and the option for a tailored lecture.

What does your network look like? Complete the questionnaire, and receive your personalized network graph, with explanations for the various features.
